American General Media is answering Silver Horizons' call for help with a "Big Box of Love" radio promotion for food and monetary donations to help low-income senior citizens. Through November 17, pick up empty boxes from American General Media's office (M-F 9a-5p) at 8009 Marble Avenue NE, or at Thrift Smart (Tues-Fri 12-4p, Sat 10a-3p) at 3100-A San Mateo Blvd NE.

Once filled with nonperishable food items, the boxes can be dropped off where you picked up the boxes (during normal business hours) or give them to Chaz Malibu in the Albertsons parking lot at Coors and Montano on Saturday, November 18 from 9a-5p.
