2008 Flu Shot Festivals

 

Silver Horizons New Mexico, Inc., a non-profit charitable 501(c)(3), dedicates itself to supporting the senior population of New Mexico by offering programs, services and events that facilitate independence, promote well-being, maximize the quality of life with dignity, provide access to community services, and celebrate the lives of our elders.

In collaboration with the City of Albuquerque & Bernalillo County Department of Senior Affairs and Silver Horizons New Mexico, FREE flu shots will be given at 7 different times and locations.

 

Those wanting flu shots are advised to sign up in advance at the location that is most convenient for them. Flu shots to walk-ins will be provided as time and supply allows.

 

Flu shots will be given free of charge to all regardless of health plan, but recipients will be required to sign a consent form.

 

The Hours Are: 8:30 am - 11:00 am at each location and the dates and locations are scheduled as follows:

The flu shots are primarily for seniors and their caretakers, however, anyone who passes the pre-assessment and signs the required consent form is eligible to receive a flu shot, regardless of insurance type.

 

New Mexico Marimba Band will provide entertainment. Besides the complimentary flu shots, Presbyterian will provide water bottles, healthy snacks and other giveaways.
